The Five Purposes

1) Evangelism: Sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those who don't yet have a personal      relation ship with Him. Matthew 5:14-16

2) Worship: Celebrating God's presence and honoring him with our lifestyle. Romans 12:1

3) Fellowship: To know and be known, to care and be cared for, to hold accountable and be held      accountable, to encourage and be encouraged in one's spiritual journey. John 13:34-35

4) Discipleship: Strengthening believers in their quest to be like Christ. Hebrews 1:6

5) Ministry: Discovering God's gifts to us and putting them into practice to meet needs with love.      Ephesians 4:11-13

The Five Audiences

1) Community: Those who live within a realistic driving distance to DCFC and don't know Christ.

2) Crowd: Those who call DCFC their home church and attend Friday evening PAC. Can be both      Christians and none Christians.

3) Congregation: Those who are connected to other Christians through a Bible study small group.

4) Committed: Those who are in a small group and are developing the H.A.B.I.T.S. of a growing      Christian.

5) Core: Those in the Committed who are also discovering a ministry in which to serve.
